Gphone Android apps
With more and more apps appearing every day you will never get bored of an android phone, as of now all the apps on the market are free but expect to start paying for some applications from January 2009.
Below is list of the applications available and some yet to be released, Also some android apps we hope will be available in the future.
Life360 - Keep track of your life and family
Good for the family with android phones, alerts group when theres a danger in the area, send and receive messages and send your location.
CompareEverywhere and GoCart - Moneysaver and shop compare
Two apps that do the same thing, You can compare prices using the built in barcode scanner / camera. Say your in wallmart and you want to guy the latest guitar heroes you can scan the bar code and the phone use's the Internet and gps to find you prices at other local stores and also reviews on the product you scanned.
PhoneBook 2.0 - This app backs up all your contacts info
This android app saves all your contacts on a remote server, Should you ever lose your phone or get it stolen, you will be able to get all contacts info so you don't lose important numbers. It also integrates with social networking so you can share your location, photos and mood with your contacts.
BreadCrumbz - Amazing for sharing directions
Breadcrumz is a picture based route finder, your peers can create directions for you using the gps and camera.
TuneWiki - Audio, video and lyrics
Use tunewiki to access audio, lyrics and videos.
ShareYourBoard - An android white board
A whiteboard for use with images and a white screen that you can share with friends.
Locale - Location based settings
You can set ring tones in specific areas using the in built GPS, not only can you change ringtones you can also change the wallpaper and other settings. We hope in the future it may be able to integrate with household appliances for example once you get within 1 miles of the house, put the kettle on, put the oven on, open the front gate and loads of other things!!
BioWallet - An iris reader for security
This keeps sensitive information such as documents, pics, conversations, and passwords safe and they can only be accessed by the owners iris or a handwritten signature. You can also use it to unlock your phone!! Gotta be my favourite app.
Teradesk e-Storage - Store files on a remote server cloud
If you like storage this allows you to store files on a server to almost unlimited size limit and allow friends to access your files.
Maverick - IM client and Blogger
Share scribbles, photos, multimedia, audio, Chat with friends on a mix of different IM clients, You can also use maverick to blog using Blogger.
One app I personally really want is an android app to use the G1 to record video using the camera rather than just using the camera to take photos.
There are literally hundreds more android apps and we will be adding a description on the below in the future.
